About Ben

Ben was born in 1982 in London, and was hammering away at the keys of a piano from an early age. Lessons followed shortly at the age of five and he was soon passing his 1st Grade Piano exam with distinction.

Ben found a number of ways to continue his interest in music during his school years. He continued to take piano lessons, focusing in particular on jazz styles. He performed with rock bands as well as starting to experiment with MIDI sequencing and synthesizers. This early grasp of music technology enabled him to realise compositions and formed a basis for his strong understanding of modern production values.

He has since gone on to complete a diploma in Media Composition from the London School of Creative Studies, which has provided the opportunity to work on scores from a variety of areas of the media. Ben also holds a 1st class honours degree in Mathematics from the University of Warwick.
