Synopsis:

 

An Iliad is a retelling of Homer's classic tale from the perspective of a poet and his muse wandering through the millennia bearing the burden of having to tell the story. The muse in played by harpist Cindy Qin; she provides musical accompaniment that both supports and combats the poet.

An Iliad opened at the Moody Center for the Arts in its brand new Louis Chiles black box theater, in Houston, TX on the Rice University campus.
